This notice explains how PowerBox Fitness handles personal information submitted through this website. PowerBox Fitness is a private gym at 54 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6B 6N9.
Information we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, enquiry type and the message you choose to send. When you request gym and training updates, we collect your email address. Please do not send medical records or other highly sensitive information through these website forms.
The website and its hosting, security, caching, analytics and form tools may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, date and time of access, pages viewed and security events.
How we use information
We use website information to respond to enquiries, arrange gym visits, discuss membership or personal training, deliver updates you requested, operate and secure the website, diagnose technical problems, and meet legal obligations. Enquiry details are not used for unrelated email marketing unless you separately ask to receive updates.
Email updates and consent
If you request PowerBox updates, we may send occasional commercial email about the gym or training. You can withdraw that request at any time by using the unsubscribe instruction in an email or contacting us. Canadian guidance requires commercial email to identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe method; see the CRTC CASL guidance.
Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers for website hosting, security, caching, analytics and email delivery. They may process information on our behalf in Canada or other countries, where local laws apply. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, PowerBox, our members or the public.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, normal business records, dispute resolution, security and legal obligations.
